New wick in the Wickhams
The two Wickham cars can now be coupled together safely so we took them for a test run to Amberley and back.
Autumn Industrial Trains Day
Our visitor for Industrial Trains in October came courtesy of Tony from Bredgar who brought his newly acquired Simplex (MR7037/1936) from the recently demised Bolton Fell Peatworks Railway in Cumbria.

The cosmetic restoration of our 1880 Fletcher Jennings 0-4-0T Townsend Hook has proceeded slowly but surely to the extent that the boiler is now back on the frames and painted black, and the side tanks have been patched.

Amberley Platform Rebuilt
After we relaid the track into the station in early 2012 (see news item here), the platform at Amberley was too low for comfort so with a grant from the Friends of Amberley Museum, we were able to rebuild and raise it.
